We care about the planet, we are committed to ensuring that every solar system we install reduces carbon footprints, all over the Illawarra. SunPeople have installed over 4MW of solar capacity over the last four years. Over the life of these systems, they will offset carbon equivalent to planting 4 million trees.
All of our old solar panels are recycled with a local recycler or given a new life in Solomon Islands! As only 20% of Solomon Islanders have access to electricity. We don't quote over the phone. Every system starts with a free on-site consultation where we inspect your roof, check your switchboard, assess shading and design the right solution for your home.
Support After Installation
Our relationship doesn't end at installation. We provide ongoing after-installation support, monitoring guidance, system maintenance and warranty assistance to help keep your system performing reliably.

Four years ago as part of building our new house, we selected SunPeople to install a 10.56 kW solar panel system on the roof. We were impressed by the professionalism of the quotes, and the work they carried out for the installation.With recent pricing changes, we decided to add home battery storage into the solution, and again SunPeople did an excellent job providing the quotes around options, and we chose to use them for the installation of a 16 kWh battery, with full visibility and control through software for how the system in operating and where the power is going.In future it will also allow leveraging the storage for VPP (Virtual Power Plant) schemes. I recently had solar panels installed at my home by SumPeople. They were very efficient and pleasant to deal with. Phil O'Brien, the solar designer came in person and went through what my needs were and how much it would cost. I got three quotes but the other two companies couldn't be bothered to come in person, so just googled my roof and decided what they thought I needed! When one is making a big investment like solar I expect to have a one on one meeting with the installers. My panels are great, all done in a few hours with no damage to my tiles, in fact Sam, the electrician noticed one of my tiles was cracked so he replaced it for me. I call that good service! Just had a 6.6 kW system connected. So far so good. Liked the design allowing for mitigation of partial shading and protection of inverter. Installers were polite and careful. No broken tiles. Not the cheapest quote but quality equipment installed by local company, not subcontractors so If any problems arise I feel secure in being backed up. Can't tell you any stats yet - still waiting for full access to monitoring. Can't show you a photo without a drone.
