The BYD Battery-Box Premium HVS and HVM Limited Warranty outlines the warranty terms for their battery products in Australia. The warranty period is ten years from the Warranty Start Date, which is either six months from the production date or 30 days after the delivery date, depending on documentation provided by the buyer.

The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship and guarantees that the battery will retain 60% of its usable energy or reach the minimum throughput energy within the warranty period.
