Project overview
Before choosing SunPeople, the management team at United Mitre10 had looked into solar several times but had been discouraged by interstate companies quoting the job with no local presence. SunPeople provided expert design, high-quality materials, competitive pricing and local support to deliver a 30kW system.
challenge
The large, easily accessible roof with modern steel construction was an ideal canvas, but presented two key obstacles: skylight roof sheets that couldn't safely bear a person's weight, and no obvious way to get the solar panels onto the roof.
outcome
The installation was completed in just one week. Timber walkways and safety bollards were installed to provide safe access around the skylights, and a crane was hired to quickly and safely lift the panels and mounting system onto the roof.
